1. Overview
Madgwick’s Mobile IT provides mobile computer and technology support services to individuals and businesses in Dorset and Hampshire. By booking a callout or using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
We provide IT support, repair, setup, and diagnostic services at your home or business. Service availability may vary by location.
3. Bookings
Appointments can be made online, by phone, or through social media.
You agree to provide accurate contact and address details when booking.
A minimum callout fee of £40 applies, which includes the first hour of work. Additional time is billed at £20 per hour, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Payments
Payments are taken on site after completion of work using Stripe (via card, mobile, or contactless payment).
Invoices or receipts can be provided electronically.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost.
Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £20 cancellation fee.
6. Liability
While every effort is made to protect your equipment and data:
- You are responsible for backing up your data before any repair or service.
- We are not liable for data loss, software corruption, or indirect damages arising from work carried out, unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Warranty
All services are provided with reasonable skill and care.
Hardware parts supplied by Madgwick’s Mobile IT include a 30-day workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated.
8. Privacy & Data
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will not access personal files without your permission and only for the purpose of providing the agreed service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes will be handled through informal resolution wherever possible, otherwise through the courts of England and Wales.
